Menurut laporan bulanan yang dikeluarkan oleh Pertubuhan Koko Antarabangsa (ICCO), pada suku pertama tahun 2021\/22 (Oktober-Disember 2021), permintaan koko di wilayah utama dunia menunjukkan pemulihan yang kukuh. Walaupun pandemik Covid-19, kemajuan dalam vaksinasi telah membolehkan pembukaan sosio-ekonomi dan meningkatkan permintaan pengguna untuk kebanyakan komoditi, termasuk koko. ICCO menjangkakan pertumbuhan penggunaan koko akan meningkat pada 2021\/22 dan 2022\/23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pada masa yang sama, harga koko tidak mengalami tekanan akibat lebihan bekalan dan inventori yang mencukupi sepanjang tahun lalu, yang membolehkan jenama coklat mengawal kos dan meningkatkan aktiviti pemprosesan koko.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peningkatan Permintaan untuk Pengisaran Koko<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Permintaan pengisaran koko Eropah pada suku keempat 2021 meningkat sebanyak 6.3% tahun ke tahun kepada 365,826 tan, menurut data persatuan koko serantau. Permintaan pengisaran koko Asia meningkat sebanyak 6.3% tahun ke tahun kepada 231,309 tan. Walau bagaimanapun, permintaan untuk pengisaran koko di Amerika Syarikat menurun sedikit sebanyak 1.2% kepada 116,614 tan, tetapi perlu diperhatikan bahawa bilangan kilang pengisar koko di Amerika Syarikat telah menurun daripada 17 kepada 16. Ia masih belum diketahui sama ada satu-satunya sebab penurunan data permintaan pengisaran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trend Pengeluaran Koko di C\u00f4te d'Ivoire dan Ghana adalah Bertentangan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bertentangan dengan peningkatan ketara dalam permintaan pengisaran koko, prestasi pengeluaran koko adalah agak sederhana. Pengeluaran koko di C\u00f4te d'Ivoire, pengeluar koko terbesar dunia, telah melebihi tahap tempoh yang sama tahun lepas. Pengeluaran koko setakat 30 Januari ialah 1.34 juta tan, naik 1.5% daripada 1.32 juta tan dalam tempoh yang sama tahun lepas. Tetapi berita buruknya ialah cuaca yang lebih kering di kawasan pengeluar koko boleh mengurangkan kelembapan tanah yang baik, meningkatkan kebimbangan mengenai hasil dan kualiti tanaman yang dijadualkan pada musim ini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sementara itu, pengeluaran koko tahun baru Ghana tidak optimistik. Sehingga 6 Januari lalu, pengeluaran koko negara jatuh mendadak sebanyak 53.9% kepada 263,000 tan metrik daripada 570,000 tan metrik tahun lalu. Sebab utama penurunan mendadak dalam pengeluaran koko di negara ini adalah gangguan lalu lintas di wilayah Ashanti, wilayah pengeluar koko kedua terbesar. Sama seperti negara jiran C\u00f4te d'Ivoire, pada masa ini terdapat hujan yang tidak mencukupi dan angin kering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arah Aliran Harga Koko: Terus Meningkat<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Permintaan yang meningkat dan pengeluaran yang berkurangan secara teorinya akan mendorong harga koko lebih tinggi, tetapi inventori koko yang banyak telah mengekang kenaikan harga yang pesat. Tetapi di bawah aliran umum inflasi global, kami menjangkakan arah aliran menaik yang stabil dalam harga koko.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
