Mayor productor mundial de cacao: Costa de Marfil y Ghana<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Seg\u00fan las estad\u00edsticas de la Organizaci\u00f3n Internacional del Cacao (ICCO), en la temporada de cosecha 2020\/2021, la superficie mundial de cosecha de cacao alcanz\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 12 millones de hect\u00e1reas, con una producci\u00f3n total de 5,13 millones de toneladas. Entre ellas, \u00c1frica represent\u00f3 76,4%, las Am\u00e9ricas 15,6% y la regi\u00f3n Asia-Pac\u00edfico 8,0%. Costa de Marfil<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Costa de Marfil representa m\u00e1s de 40% de la producci\u00f3n mundial de cacao, con una producci\u00f3n anual de unos 2,2 millones de toneladas. El pa\u00eds suministra principalmente cacao en grano a empresas chocolateras internacionales como Nestl\u00e9 y Cadbury. Dos tercios de los ingresos comerciales de Costa de Marfil proceden de la producci\u00f3n de cacao, pero la industria ha sido objeto de cr\u00edticas por su dependencia del trabajo infantil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ghana<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

GhGhana representa alrededor de 20% de la producci\u00f3n mundial de cacao, con una producci\u00f3n anual de unos 1,06 millones de toneladas.
