From October 12 to November 1, 24, Gelgoog went deep into the core areas of the West African cocoa industry – Cameroon and Cote d’Ivoire, and carried out a 21-day market visit.

Cameroon and Côte d’Ivoire together contribute over 60% of global annual cocoa production, yet their local processing rate remains below 30%, highlighting urgent needs for industrial upgrading. During field visits, GELGOOG accurately identified client challenges. For example, a client in Abidjan, under pressure from rising raw material costs, showed great interest in GELGOOG’s cocoa nib production line due to its high yield and efficiency. Thanks to tailored process solutions and responsive service, GELGOOG secured two project agreements and initiated technical collaborations with five companies, further strengthening trust in the local industry.
